1. Agreement
These Terms of Service are a contract between you and Core Mentors LLC ("Tacto", "we"). You accept them by checking the acceptance box when creating an account (or continuing through phone sign-up), and we record the version you accepted and when. If you do not agree, do not use Tacto. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is part of this agreement.
2. Eligibility and minors
You must be at least 13 years old (or older where your country sets a higher age of digital consent) to open your own account. We ask for your date of birth once when you join; an account below the minimum age is refused and the details entered are deleted. Athletes under 13 may use Tacto only through a managed account created by a parent or guardian via our parent-invitation flow: the parent accepts these terms on the minor's behalf, remains responsible for the account, and may close it at any time.
Accounts held by athletes between 13 and 17 start with protective defaults: the profile is visible to connections only, they do not appear in searches or suggestions to people they are not connected with or who are not part of their club, tags need their approval, and only connections, club members and their coaches can invite them to watch a live stream. They may open these settings themselves.
3. Accounts and roles
- Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide accurate information, including your role (athlete, coach, club).
- One person may hold linked accounts across Core Sports apps; closing an account follows the process in the app or via support@netcoresports.com.
4. Clubs, organizers, and coaches
- Clubs/organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their rosters, events, prices, and member data they manage on Tacto, and for complying with the laws that apply to their venue and activities — including notices and consents required for filming and streaming (section 5).
- Coaches must hold whatever qualifications and clearances their jurisdiction requires (especially when working with minors) and interact with managed minor accounts only through the platform's parent-controlled mechanisms.
- We may suspend role features (e.g., club payouts, coach listings) pending verification.
5. Live streaming and recordings
- Organizers who stream through Tacto warrant they have the right to film and broadcast the venue, the event, and its participants, and that required notices/consents are in place.
- By participating in an event marked as streamed, you consent to appearing in the stream and its recordings as described in the Privacy Policy; for managed minor accounts this consent is given by the parent.
- We may remove streams or recordings that violate these terms or applicable law, and we operate a takedown process via support@netcoresports.com.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Tacto a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (e.g., transcode, thumbnail), and display your content for operating and promoting the service, for as long as the content remains on the platform. You are responsible for having the rights to what you post.
7. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, infringing, hateful, or harassing content or behavior.
- No impersonation, false affiliations, or manipulated results/rankings.
- No scraping, reverse engineering, or interference with the service.
- No commercial reuse of streams, recordings, or platform data without our agreement.
We may moderate, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
8. Payments
- Payments on Tacto (bookings, events, memberships, subscriptions) are processed by Stripe; club payouts use Stripe Connect, and clubs must additionally accept Stripe's connected-account agreement.
- Prices, billing periods, and cancellation terms are shown at purchase. Purchases from a club are a contract between you and that club; refunds follow the club's stated policy and applicable law, and Tacto may facilitate but does not owe refunds on a club's behalf.
- Platform fees, where charged, are disclosed to the club or buyer at the point of sale.
9. Third-party services
Sign-in with Google, payment processing, streaming infrastructure, and similar integrations are provided by third parties under their own terms; we are not responsible for their services.
10. Intellectual property
Tacto, its apps, design, and branding are our property or licensed to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the apps and services, and no other license.
11. Termination
You may stop using Tacto and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, legal requirement, or risk to the platform or its users, with notice where practicable. Sections that by nature survive (content license for already-distributed content, disputes, liability) survive termination.
12. Disclaimers
Tacto is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free streams, or the accuracy of user-provided data (including results and rankings). Participation in sport is at your own risk; Tacto does not organize the physical events listed by clubs and organizers.
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and the minimum amount required by applicable law. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are brought in its courts unless mandatory consumer law gives you the courts of your residence.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app or by email and take effect on the stated date. The version identifier recorded at your acceptance lets both sides know which text you agreed to. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated terms.
